Hi, I'm Pamela
Hello. I’m Pamela and I want to continue the Lindell Legacy of community service in a new role as your County Commissioner.
I’m married to Lance and we live in a classic Royal Oak 1920’s bungalow, lovingly restored by us over the past 26 years. Together we raised our now adult son Jesse, who had the benefit of growing up within our caring, supportive neighborhood and school community. Our son recently left the nest. We aren’t lonely though, as we remain surrounded by our rescued family members- furry, feathered and in shell!
I am a proud and active volunteer in our community since day one, from helping latchkey after-school programs to presently being a “Friends of the Royal Oak Library” board member, as well as a volunteer and fundraiser for the Royal Oak Animal Shelter.
The Lindell Legacy
My husband of 35 years Lance Lindell is a “Beaumont baby” and has deep roots in our community. The Ice arena was named in honor of his father John Lindell, who served as Royal Oak’s Director of Parks and Recreation for 16 years. My father-in-law was passionate about trees, parks, and green spaces that keep us healthy both physically and mentally. He worked to have the parks dedicated as public spaces, to ensure they couldn’t be sold off without a vote of the people- I promise to continue that legacy. Thanks to Dad’s efforts in the 1960’s we have a full green canopy shading our tree lined streets and parks today. Under his watch and diligent efforts Royal Oak achieved the Arbor Day Foundation recognition and honor as being a Tree City USA; that is something we can all be proud of- I promise to continue that legacy.
